It wouldn’t be New Year’s Eve without dinner at Artemio’s Prime & Proper. Our 2025 experience was just as exceptional as our previous visits. The proprietor, Romeo, and the Wine & Beverage Director/Sommelier, Sasha—along with their highly professional staff—make this establishment a true gem. While every dish is excellent, three standouts are the beet salad, the pear fagottini, and the Colorado rack of lamb. If you are looking for fine dining with superb ambiance and service, look no further than Artemio’s.

My husband and I made reservations here for a belated Valentine's dinner and it did not disappoint. I got the Pear Fagotini, rainbow salad and the mushroom risotto. He ordered oysters on the half shell and the Wagyu steak. To finish the meal, I ordered the strawberry latte, which was also incredible. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. The staff is so friendly and attentive. I will absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fancy night out and delicious meal.

This is my favorite restaurant to go to for a fancy and tasty meal. The staff remembers you and describes the food so well. I'm vegetarian and their soups, apps and entrées have been delicious every time and they have plenty of meat for everyone else. Their risotto and pasta fagotini are my favorites. I love listening to their pianist when he's there.

I wanted to share a thoughtful note about an experience I had at your restaurant over the summer. I’ve dined with you before, and that prior visit left a strong impression—the food was excellent, the ambiance was refined and welcoming, and the level of service was truly top-tier. That’s exactly why I chose to return. Unfortunately, during this particular visit, my guest became uncomfortable when raw cuts of meat were presented tableside for selection and decided she no longer wanted to stay. This led to an awkward situation, and we ultimately left without dining. I was genuinely embarrassed, as her reaction did not reflect my own feelings about your restaurant or its practices. What stood out to me most in that moment was the professionalism of your staff—especially your hostess. She handled the situation with remarkable grace, kindness, and composure, and even made an effort to smooth things over despite having done absolutely nothing wrong. That level of poise speaks volumes about the standards you uphold. I want to emphasize that my past experience with your restaurant was outstanding, and this situation in no way reflects the quality of your establishment. If anything, it reinforced how professional and well-trained your team is. I fully intend to return again, and I look forward to enjoying the experience as it was meant to be. Probably our favorite restaurant. The staff, the food, the timing, and the ambiance all 10/10. Never had a bad meal. Always rave about how this restaurant is way better than any other meal out we can get. We have gotten a variety of their appetizers/ salads/soups and dinners.. but always a nice steak is what I look forward to. Even the lemon sorbet to cleanse the taste before dinner is a nice touch. Very impressed that our waitress always remembers the 8+ person orders without writing anything down and gets it right perfectly everytime. Only wish was the price was a little cheaper and we lived slightly closer. We drive an hour away and will easily spend $150 a person. But we'll worth it for the quality of a night. Highly recommended!!

@ Artemio’s Prime & Proper Dinner for 2. Some dinners are simply meals. Others become memorable experiences. Our evening at Artemio’s Prime & Proper was most definitely the latter. From the moment we walked into the main dining room, we knew we were somewhere special. The room felt elegant without being pretentious—bright, airy, and reminiscent of a beautifully appointed country home. The tables were thoughtfully spaced, giving the dining room an open, relaxed feel. Crisp white linens, beautiful place settings, comfortable chairs, and a tiny vase holding a single pale pink rose created an atmosphere that was both refined and welcoming. A stately wood-trimmed fireplace anchored the room, while decorative glass doors added another touch of understated charm. Although no one was playing it at the time, a beautiful white piano in an adjoining room also caught our eye and was quite impressive. The service was exceptional from beginning to end. Chilled bottles of Pellegrino arrived almost immediately, along with warm, freshly baked rolls and rich grass-fed butter. Our server seemed to appear exactly when needed, quietly refilling our glasses before we ever thought to ask. The hostess checked in regularly, and the owner stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was perfect. It was attentive service without ever feeling intrusive. The appetizers set the tone for what was to come. We shared the Burrata with Prosciutto di Parma, grilled peaches, fresh blueberries, walnuts, extra virgin olive oil, and aged balsamic—a beautiful balance of creamy, sweet, and savory. The Stuffed Figs, filled with Danish blue cheese, walnuts, Prosciutto di Parma, and finished with a honey-balsamic reduction, were equally outstanding. Just when we thought we’d sampled the highlights, the chef surprised us with tiny crystal stemmed glasses holding a refreshing lemon sorbet palate cleanser—a thoughtful touch that made the evening feel even more special. We wanted to go to a "fancy place" to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary and this place did not disappoint! We had a lovely, relaxing time. Everyone from the owner ,the very lovely hostess,to the wait staff were very attentive to your needs. Oh, and by the way, the food was fabulous!!

Moving to Ringwood so i tried this highly rated restaurant and it delivered big time. The host is a gentleman that knows how to greet and treat custumers as if they are family. The bartender although new served us amazing drinks with professionalism and style. The summelier has excellent knowledge of wines and brought out 3 choice for my wife and i to choose. The Zin we chose was amazing. The salad we order was delicious. The kitchen brought out the beef, pork, veal and fish available that night on a platter for us to examime. The quality was high-end. We chose the fillet and it was amazing. We opted for no dessert but instead drank some Vin Santo which is only found at exceptional bars (almost chose Luis xxiii). Maybe next time. Overall a 10+. Can't wait to return over and over again.

My wife and I have made Artemio’s Prime and Proper one of our go-to spots, and it earns it every single time. The food is consistently outstanding, the presentation is beautiful, and the atmosphere strikes that perfect balance of upscale and comfortable. Service is attentive without hovering.
